SILK SHOW JANUARY 22-24, 2008 AT PRAGATI MAIDAN, NEW DELHI

     

The council is organising a ‘Silk Show’ January 22-24,2008 at Pragati Maidan New Delhi for displaying of Furnishings,FashionFabrics, Accessories, Carpets and Garments. The Silk Show is creatively conceptualized exhibition bringing to the world, in unique and innovative way. It is re-introduction to all that is widely known about India and more, showcasing India’s rich culture, lifestyles, resources and abundant potential.Council’s Silk Show will be held alongwith the India International Garment fair, 22nd – 24th January, 2008 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

India as one of the biggest and foremost manufacturers of quality Silk Textile Garments and Accessories, the recent export figures have shown an upward trend for this sector and with the focused promotion under Reverse Trade Visit Programme of Ministry of Commerce is expected to take a major leap in the years to come.

Considering the synergies between the products the “Silk Show” is to be organized alongwith India International Garment Fair,22nd-24th January, 2008 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi . By attending the “ Silk Show” participants effectively and productively gain immediate competitive advantage of their business and stay abreast with the latest developments in the silk industry . During the exhibition high volume buyers, individuals from boutiques and boutique chains or high end products buyers will find manufacturers or suppliers who can cater to their needs at this show.

ISEPC is inviting buyers and designers from US , Europe, Asia and LAC countries to visit this fair under the Government’s Reverse Trade Activity Programme which guarantees their attendance by giving the visitors To & Fro Airfare with Hotel Accomodation at New Delhi.

  • Silk Show will to be held simultaneously with IIGF, January, 2008, New Delhi which is now well established International Garment Fair attracting large number of overseas buyers across the globe which will benefits both the Organization.

  • The Show offers competitive sourcing option across the Indian Silk Industry.
  • Members of the Council will be offered subsidy on stall rent provided they make the payment before the due dates mentioned below:

                      Payments received before 10/12/07 25% Subsidy
                      Payments received before 15/12/07 20% Subsidy
                      Payments received before 20/12/07 15% Subsidy
                      Payments received before 25/12/07 10% Subsidy
                      After 25/12/07 no Subsidy will be offered.

  • Additional publicity and advertisement in India and abroad will focus on silk products and exports.

The participation charges are as follows:

  • Built-up booth of 9/ 12/18/ Sq.mtr. (Including essential equipments) Rs . 4000/- Per Sq.mtr.

                            Two side open 102% Extra
                            Three side open 20% Extraa

  • Catalogue Entry (Compulsory)  Rs. 1000/-.
