Formaldehyde-Free Fixing Agent

Fixing Agent Resifix FF - Used for improving the wet fastness properties of dyed and printed fabrics produced with reactive/direct dyes on cellulosic fibres and their blends.

ENZYMES

Enzymes are bio-molecules that react with textile at temperatures between 40 to 700 deg C. They are very specific in their reaction and do not have side effects. After use they can be easily biodegrade so they do not cause pollution and hence are considered eco-friendly. Garments can be treated with enzymes in garment washing machines to give either a soft feel or random-fading of the Indigo dyed garments to give a washed look.

Biofading

Bio-fading involves treatment of indigo dyed garment with cellulase enzyme. On treatment with enzymes alongwith some stones or steel balls the indigo is randomly removes from some places giving a faded look to the treated garment. Here it is important to understand abrasion. Abrasion means rubbing of the garment with some hard material such as stone etc. On abrasion again the fabric acquires a faded wornout look. Pumice stone is generally used for abrasion. Some times it is soaked in a bleaching solution before use. The bleaching agent present in the stone destroys the dye on the fabric randomly giving a faded look. Ezyfade RAAC, Ezyfade G Plusconcentrated Rapid Action Acid Cellulase enzymes, specially designed for textile application such as bio-finishing of garments (i.e., abrasion and surface modification).

Biopolishing

Bio-polishing of the garment is carried out by treated the stitched garment with cellulase enzyme. Enzymes remove the fluff and the protruding fibres from the suface of the garment and gives it a ‘clean’ smooth look - bio-polished!

Ezysoft EW, Ezysoft Apex - Acid cellulose enzyme, specially formulated for biopolishing and biosoftening of cellulosics and their blends, and good fading effect on denim and pigment dyed cellulosics. It is a ready-to-use, technically-advanced, third-generation, enzyme produced by submerged fermentation of a trichoderma species.

Ezyfade Neutraplus – Technically advanced, tru neutral, endo-glucanase for fading enriched, neutral cellulose enzyme. Neutrafade gives a superior finish especially on denims as it has a special indigo dye anti redepositing system, which prevents back staining in denim washing.

ANTI BACKSTAINING

When garment dyed with indigo are treated with enzymes to get a bio-fading effect, the indigo dye removed by the enzyme tend to deposit back on the fabric. Since the indigo dyed fabric are produced
from dyed warp yarns the back side of the fabric is white. On bio-fading with enzyme the washed indigo dye gets deposited on the white (back side of the fabric). This is called ‘Back staining. Any process of chemical or enzyme that prevents the re-deposition of the washed indigo from the treatment bath on to the farbic is called anti-back staining agents. The anti-staining agents form a colloidal solution of the washed indigo dye in the bath thereby prevent it re-deposition on the fabric.

Enchanced contrast improved clean up enchances the contrast of abraded denim after cellulose treatment. Fading as the process involves enzyme action two times - enzyme fading followed by enzyme anti back staining.

Peroxide Killer

Perox 262 - Perox 262 is a liquid enzymatic preparation that readily and effectively catalyses the transformation of residual hydrogen peroxide into oxygen and water. It removes hydrogen peroxide without the traditional, extra-rinsing steps and saves water and processing time.

SILICONE SERIES

Silicones are used for silky smoothness on all substrates and soft feel on denims. They are synthetic polymeric materials that are available in the emulsion form. On padding and curing on textiles they give soft feel to the textile fabrics. If used in large quantity they make fabric waterrepellent. They are durable and can withstand atleast 20 washes. Garments on treatment with silicone emulsion become soft.
